THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES

The Directorate of Community Services is to provide accessible, affordable, equitable and sustainable services as well as a healthy environment to residents and businesses operating in the uMfolozi Local Municipality.

Strategic Objectives:

  • To contribute towards a safe and secure environment
  • To promote a clean and healthy environment
  • To promote a culture of reading and learning
  • To ensure that public amenities are improved and well managed
  • To reduce the number of road carnages on our Public Roads
  • To increase traffic visibility in our Municipal Roads

The Directorate comprises the following Departments:
