uMfolozi Knowledge Summit Informative to uMfolozi Youth

uMfolozi Municipality held the 3rd Annual Mananga Youth Programme, Knowledge Summit on Saturday 29 July 2017 at the Nzalabantu sports field. The uMfolozi Knowledge Summit brought influential knowledge experts from different industries in business and development to interact with youth within the uMfolozi Municipality.

In its quest to fight the triple challenges of unemployment, inequality and poverty. The Mananga Youth Programme is focused on vigorously encouraging education amongst the impoverished youth of uMfolozi. Mananga Youth Programme recognizes education, as the foundation of the success of the development agenda of uMfolozi and the country.

The uMfolozi Knowledge Summit encouraged learners from grades 10, 11 and 12 to be catalysts in shaping their minds as entrepreneurs as well as focusing on their education. The panel led by Municipal Manager Mr Khulumowakhe Gamede, Ms Nondumiso Khanyile from UKZN and Mrs Nokuthula Ndlela Department of Skills Development in the uMfolozi Municipality discussed issues ranging from youth employment and youth entrepreneurship.
