Construction of the uMfolozi Municipality Thusong Centre is underway. The Thusong Service Centre will be a one-stop service centre providing information and services to communities, through a development communication approach in an integrated manner.
The Siyabonga Sangweni Youth Month Festival and Mayoral Sport Day held at the KwaDondotha sports field in uMfolozi proved once again to be a huge success.
The four-day sporting fiesta, which took place from 28 June 2018 – 1 July 2018, has shown that it is possible to successfully merge a perfect balance of sports and youth development within uMfolozi and the surrounding areas.
His Worship Mayor Smangaliso Mgenge announced the official appointment of Mr Khaya Mthethwa as the new Chief Financial Officer.
The mayor congratulated Mr. Mthethwa on behalf of the council and the administration and wished him a successful career in the municipality.
